NORTH RIVER SCENES

The North River is a very special tidal river. In the early 1700's big boats were built on the river and floated out at the huge full moon equinox tides. The boat 'the Columbia' was built in the river and sailed around the tip of South America and up to a river that was named after the boat, the Columbia River in Washington.
The James Library and Center for the Arts is having an annual show depicting North River paintings www.firstparishnorwell.org/james.html

  1. Page, this is a lovely painting-I would love to see it in it's full 36x24 glory-it will be a great addition to the show. All the elements of the composition come together so well.
